Better Together also just happens to be the name of one of our more popular vacation sanctuaries, a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath cottage located just minutes away from a private beach in Brewster. (Only members of the private association and rental guests get to enjoy this beach’s pleasures.) Find Your Joy
Dormer windows, clapboard siding, and a garden of colorful hydrangeas lined up along the wood railing that separates the grass from the sidewalk greet guests and hints at a vacation escape filled with classic New England vibe and all the comforts of a family home. Inside, our journey begins as most journeys do with a visit to a living room filled with light, comfort, and a brick fireplace that is destined to be where many happy memories are created. Sink into the plush blue sofa placed in front of the picture window looking out over the front yard and spend a few minutes of downtime watching the state-of-the-art television hanging over the mantle or snuggle into the colorful overstuffed chair and ottoman topped with striped red and white fabric and read a book that you may have taken from the bookshelf next to the chair. A second seating area in the back of Better Together provides extra seating and another television to be enjoyed by guests who reside within.
The dining area, extending off the spacious farm style kitchen offers many different purposes, providing a place to play games, eat meals, or relax with a glass of wine on a rainy day with the bottle staying cool in the wine cooler that is conveniently placed nearby! Better Together is designed for up to 8 guests to live comfortably under its roof, and the long wood table is surrounded by 10 wicker and rattan chairs, so feel good about inviting a new friends to join you for a dinner handmade by you. The kitchen is an updated space, the property was recently purchased by new owners and is in the midst of more than a few improvements, and offers granite countertops, white painted custom cabinets, and stainless-steel appliances that would look right at home in the kitchen of a professional chef. Multiple dishwashers make short work of kitchen chores, a coffee maker ensures that every guest will be properly caffeinated, and the Cape Cod décor enables guests to never forget that they are living out their vacation dreams!
The large backyard is destined to be the spot that becomes the focal point of family fun, offering a propane grill, (Grilled lobster will make you happy, but there is a lobster pot in the kitchen if you prefer the more traditional way of preparing our state’s most popular seafood dish!) multiple seating areas, and an outdoor wood-burning fireplace that guarantees that all time spent out here will be fun, romantic, and warm. This yard also features a firepit surrounded by a combination of Adirondack rockers and Adirondack chairs, offering hours of comfortable ghost story telling and marshmallow roasting for guests who agree they are better together. As we stated earlier, the beaches are within walking distance, and an outdoor shower will help keep the inside spaces virtually sand free, while the garage is furnished with another flat-screen television and a ping pong table for hours of entertainment, no matter what the weather is like outside.

The bedrooms of Better Together are built for comfort, peace, and serenity, with each room offering something that makes it stand out in a crowd. Four-poster beds, smart TVs, and cozy beds tucked under angled eaves will ensure that your sleep will be deep and your dreams will be happy. A desk placed in front of a window peering out through the trees will serve as the ideal spot to attend virtual meetings at the office, offering a large monitor to ease any eye strain and a wicker rocking chair with ottoman that will help infants and toddlers be rocked off to sleep on restless nights.
