Walk three to four minutes to the end of Algonquin Street, and your feet are in the sand of a beautiful, sandy private neighborhood beach – just the kind of beach that beckons you to Cape Cod in the first place. Drive three to four minutes to Main Street (Route 28) for coffee, barbecue, ice cream and as many as three mini golf options, all within minutes of each other. Walk or bike less than a mile to famous Tugboats restaurant at the Hyannis Marina with views of all of Hyannis Harbor and countless boats coming and going.
Speaking of Hyannis, you also have only a short drive or bike ride to the Hyannis docks where the ferries will whisk you away to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard for the day. Or stroll up Main Street, Hyannis for some of the most appealing shops and restaurants anywhere on the Cape.
Back at the house, it’s summertime and the outdoor livin’ is easy.
Choose from the large, delightful screened porch on the main level, the big open deck up top, or the charming patio just off the screened porch. Any choice is the right one, with water views in multiple directions.
Inside you’ll appreciate the quality and taste with which the owners have renovated this 3,100 sq. ft. property.
The superbly finished and equipped kitchen will inspire your menu planning and meal prep. Topline stainless steel appliances combine with mottled gray granite counters and gleaming white cabinets to create a sparkling impression. There is a large center island with seating for four, plus an eat-in area just off the kitchen. A wine/beverage center also comes in very handy.
The large living room provides not only plenty of comfortable lounge seating and a large wall mounted smart TV, its unusual exposed beams and bead board ceiling create an unexpectedly powerful impression. The main level houses a half bath just off the kitchen, where the laundry also lives.
Your dining area options are also varied and wonderful. Inside, or on the screened porch. Or out on the patio, where you’ll find an umbrella shaded dining table and chairs. The gas grill and the enclosed outdoor shower are located on the patio as well.
The upper level of this home features a primary bedroom suite with a queen size bed and private full bath, and another good sized comfy lounge area and TV. The couch here converts to a queen size bed, providing a greater choice of sleeping options. From here you walk out to the second level deck and some of the best water views of all.
There are two more bedrooms on the second level, one with a queen, and the other with a king plus two twins. These two bedrooms share another full bath. One more bedroom is located on the third level of the house and provides a queen size bed and full bath.
The home offers high speed Wi-Fi, cable/smart TV and central air conditioning.
