Right on Goose Pond in Chatham you’ll find this newly remodeled home with a private beach. The fresh water spring fed pond is ideal for swimming or kayaking. You have filtered views of the pond from the house as well. Almost 100 feet of sandy frontage on Goose Pond. There are no sharks here. Swim, kayak, hike, canoe, bird watch, frolic about in this deep, clean, warm, delightful fresh water pond. Enjoy the privacy and seclusion of having your own beach. This 1.93 acre property abuts 73.24 acres of Chatham's, Goose Pond Forest, conservation land.
There is a large deck area with a high-top fire table which doubles as a dining table with seating for six. Here you’ll also find the enclosed outdoor shower and Weber gas grill. There is also a spacious patio on the water side of the house which is ideal for lounging and enjoying the afternoon sun.
Inside, the house is like new from top to bottom. The vaulted living room and dining area are open to the kitchen and is flooded with natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped and is brand new. There is a bedroom on the main level with a queen bed along with a full bath. All furnishings throughout are brand new with a modern flair. Upstairs you’ll find the primary bedroom with a queen bed and a small work space if you need to catch up on anything during your stay. The final bedroom has a set of built in bunks. There are two full baths in the home, one on the main level, the other upstairs.
The house is air conditioned via in-wall units throughout. You can watch TV using the streaming options on the Smart TVs, you’ll also enjoy the high-speed Wi-Fi.
The property is conveniently set close to Chatham and Harwich beaches and also to town centers, about a 7-9 minute drive to each. You are also close to the Rail Trail for biking and running. The nearest intersection is a mile away. Enjoy a unique blend of modern living set in a beautiful natural setting.
This property has a seven-night minimum during the peak season. As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $ 195. In addition, there are state and local taxes applied to all reservations less than 31 days in length that total 14.45%.
