There is one member of your family that all too often gets left behind, your family dog! Sweet Mona, the Lab/Boxer mix that you rescued, frequently has to stay behind, being treated like a chore instead of the devoted, loyal, and loving companion she is. During your Cape Cod adventures, however, she is invited to join in the fun, staying in the pets-considered family rentals we offer and living the good life as she lounges at your feet in every room in the house.
Our properties that sit on the sandy shores of the Cape Cod National Seashore allows leashed dogs to frolic on the beach year-round (check local websites to be sure that’s still accurate), and we have a feeling that your little Mona will discover that she is a water dog after all. There are fees assessed and your pet must be approved, but once she gets the greenlight, life will be a beach for your entire family!

Anyone who has a kid knows that they often have two modes. First is lounging mode, where they can sit for hours with one leg tucked underneath them as they talk on the phone, play video games, or if you are a really lucky parent, read an actual book, not just something they have on their eReaders. The second mode is constant movement, and as they bounce and run, our homes will be there to comfort them in every mood.
Our family-friendly homes with game rooms are sure to be your kids’ favorite retreats, but if you don’t choose one with a dedicated game room, you may find a foosball table tucked away in another room or a stack of boardgames just waiting to introduce your kids to the joys of living life unplugged. It may be difficult to drag your tired teens out of the most comfortable beds in the state, and your tweens may actually be enticed to take a shower when they realize some of our homes offer outdoor showers!
