This immaculate new beach house is nestled into the dunes of South Chatham with stunning elevated views of marshlands and Nantucket Sound beyond. The home’s two-level, expansive deck makes the most of the location and setting. There is a dining table, enclosed outdoor shower and a gas grill here as well.
Walk five minutes to sandy Pleasant Street Beach, a little farther to Forest Beach or about 20 minutes to popular Red River Beach. Drive a few minutes to Main Street in either Chatham or Harwich Port for some of the Cape’s best restaurants, shopping, entertainment, galleries and more.
Walk into the main level of this home and you are immediately struck by the light and views through the multiple French doors and large windows throughout. The living room leads into the dining area and into the fully equipped chef’s kitchen and the family room, which has a large, smart TV, SONOS surround sound, and a gas fireplace. You have high-speed Wi-Fi and a couple of convenient workstations, in case you are working remotely. The house is fully air-conditioned with split units in the lower level bedrooms for customized climate control, as well as central AC on the main level. There is cable as well as a smart TV.
There are three bedrooms, three full baths, and a half bath off the kitchen. You will additionally enjoy a large bonus room with 2 twin beds for extra bedding options.The main level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms including a master en suite with French doors out to the oversized deck. The second bedroom has a full bath which also includes the laundry area.
Because it is built into a hill, the other house level is down one flight of stairs. Once you get there, a big family room awaits with French doors, two leather sofas, a big screen TV and table and chairs for games, puzzles or work. The bedrooms on this level include one Queen bed and the bonus room. They share another full bath. There is also a wine cellar here for your use.
The home is called Hakuna Matata which means ‘No worries!’ – a sentiment you will embrace once you hear the birds and experience your first sunset from the tranquility of that magical deck.
