Pretty Picky normally won’t list a property that sleeps fewer than six, but this one is just too nice to pass up!
Location
It’s a superbly updated Cape in a quiet Brewster Bayside neighborhood. Point of Rocks Beach is just over half a mile down the road, an 11-minute walk from the house. At low tide, you can walk a mile or more straight out from the shore. Kids of all ages will run from one tidal pool to another, making all sorts of intriguing discoveries. Or they can build a sand castle on one of the sand bars, then, a little later, watch it be slowly washed away by the incoming tide.
From the house, it‘s only a three minute drive or five-minute bike ride up to Main Street (Route 6A) in Brewster. Here you will find several restaurants, pizza, sushi, a bookstore, bakery, liquor and wine shop, convenience store and more. And it's only a five-minute bike ride to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path, less than a mile away.
Outside Living Space
This property has a surprisingly large yard where kids can play safely, surrounded by a stockade fence for complete privacy. The terraced landscaping is exceptionally well designed, executed and maintained. A fire pit provides an appealing centerpiece and gathering place for reliving the day’s adventures on sultry summer nights. Also now competed -- a sizable 20' X 30' deck to enhance your outdoor summer living experience. The gas grill and enclosed outdoor shower are located here as well.
Inside Living Space
Walk inside this home and you’ll be struck by the all-new upscale furnishings. Step up from the entry foyer into the kitchen and relish the hardwood floors throughout most of the main level. The enticing kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for convenient meal prep. The adjacent dining room is an attractive option to dining outside, which you may prefer to do most of the time. The spare full size spare fridge in the garage is a nice extra touch.
Most of your indoor time will doubtless be spent in the spacious family room with its big, new, comfy sectional sofa and large flat screen smart TV. The slider here takes you outside to the big deck and expansive yard.
Take a moment to catch your breath, and send your kids to enjoy the newly furnished rumpus room on the lower level, where they can kick back on the sofa, and enjoy watching TV on the flatscreen. This level has another, quite large full bath, and the washer/dryer.
