You want a beach vacation? You’ll want to consider this extraordinary property, just a five-minute walk from stunning Nobscussett Beach, a private beach on Cape Cod Bay. It’s a bit of an “upside-down” floor plan, with two of the three bedrooms on the first level and the kitchen, primary, and family room on the second level. There is an additional sleeping area on the lower level. Here are some of the appealing details:
Kitchen and Dining: The space is expansive and bright in the fully equipped second-level kitchen, with a soaring cathedral ceiling, exposed wooden beams, and skylights. There’s plenty of gleaming granite counter space, including a good-sized peninsula with counter seating for three. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area, which seats six.
The kitchen opens up to the living room, which features plenty of comfortable seating, a wall-mounted TV, and a convenient wine fridge. Additionally, there is a half bath on this level. On the first level, there is also a family room, providing another excellent space for gathering indoors.
Outdoor Living Spaces: One of this home’s outstanding features is its abundance and quality of outdoor living spaces. The first-level family room opens to a large screened porch, which in turn flows into a spacious covered deck. There’s a still larger open deck above that on the second level, where you’ll find the complete outdoor kitchen. As if that’s not enough, steps from that second-level deck take you up to a rooftop deck with elevated, panoramic views of Cape Cod Bay. It’s the perfect place for cocktails and sunsets. The yard is big and flat, so there’s plenty of space for family games and activities outside.
Sleeping arrangements: The first level has two bedrooms, one of which is large! It extends the entire width of the house and has a slider that takes you out to the covered deck. The bed is queen-size, and there’s an updated full bath with a step-in shower right around the corner. The other main level bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds. The third bedroom is the primary bedroom on the second level. It has a queen-size bed and, like the downstairs queen bedroom, is unusually spacious. It has an en-suite full bath. There’s also a half bath on the second level. The lower level of the house provides an additional sleeping area with a full-size bed and a full bath.
