Here’s the ideal summer vacation headquarters for beach lovers! Beautiful First Encounter Beach on Cape Cod Bay is only a four-minute drive. The National Seashore Salt Pond Visitors Center is a five-minute drive, from which you can easily access Nauset Light Beach or even closer, Coast Guard Beach, both broad sandy destination beaches directly on the Atlantic. Or walk just five minutes to freshwater Herring Pond, a glacial pond with a nice sandy neighborhood beach where kids love to frolic in the calm, warm, crystal-clear water.
So, you’re surrounded by superb beaches on both sides of the outer Cape, plus beaches on fresh water kettle ponds in the middle!
Your outdoor living at this property is enhanced by the large, screened porch with its cushioned rattan furniture and smart TV. There’s also an open deck in case you need a little more sun. You’ll find the gas grill and enclosed outdoor shower here as well as an umbrella shaded table and chairs for dining al fresco. Enjoy star gazing after dark as you gather around the inviting fire pit. This handsome property, just under an acre, is also convenient to the popular Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path.
Inside, get used to luxury, starting with the gleaming, fully outfitted chef’s kitchen and its large center island with seating for up to seven. The comfy living room has plenty of lounge seating for enjoying the large smart TV, wall mounted over the fireplace.
Your sleeping accommodations include two master suites, each with a king size bed and private full bath. One master suite is on the main level, nice for guests challenged by too much stair climbing. The other is on the upper level, along with two additional bedrooms, each with a comfy queen size bed. In all, the house has three and a half baths.
The home has central air-conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and cable TV. The owner also provides bikes and ayaks for your enjoyment.
