Just steps from your front door is Long Pond, Cape Cod’s largest freshwater lake! Take a short walk along the private association road to the sandy beach and enjoy one of the Cape’s best freshwater swimming and recreation spots. The crystal-clear, sandy-bottom lake is often warmer than the ocean, making it a wonderful place to spend the day with family and friends. The home also comes with two kayaks that are available for your use, along with beach chairs, coolers, rafts, and beach toys, so there’s no need to pack all of those extras from home. For even more waterfront fun, a public beach on Long Pond is just a short drive away and offers lifeguards and restrooms. Of course, a Cape Cod vacation isn’t complete without exploring the ocean! Multiple town beaches along Cape Cod Bay, Nantucket Sound, and the Atlantic Ocean are approximately a 10-minute drive from the home.
Inside, you’ll find more than 3,000 square feet of comfortable, modern living space with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, central air conditioning, two flat-screen TVs, a billiards table, and a private hot tub.
The modern kitchen offers plenty of counter space and newer appliances, along with a second refrigerator in the garage for additional food and beverage storage. The kitchen opens into the family room, where a large sectional provides plenty of seating around the flat-screen TV. A vaulted solarium sits between the family room and deck, filling the space with natural light and providing another comfortable place to relax.
The main level features a spacious primary bedroom with a queen bed and private full bathroom. The bedroom also has a slider leading directly to the large deck, creating a wonderful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind after a day at the beach. Two additional bedrooms are located on the main level, each furnished with two twin beds. A full bathroom is conveniently located between the bedrooms.
Upstairs, a spacious bonus room provides plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There’s another flat-screen TV and comfortable seating, along with a billiards table for some friendly competition. At the far end of the room, you’ll find a queen bed and two twin beds, along with a private full bathroom.
Outside, the large deck provides plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings, while the hot tub offers the perfect way to unwind after a day of swimming, kayaking, or exploring the Cape.
The location is ideal for enjoying all that the Lower Cape has to offer. Restaurants, boutique shopping, galleries, and ice cream shops are all approximately a five-minute drive away, while Long Pond is right outside your door. Whether your ideal day involves kayaking on the lake, relaxing on the private sandy beach, exploring Cape Cod’s ocean beaches, or gathering around the hot tub at the end of the day, this home offers a comfortable and convenient home base for your Cape Cod getaway.
