Once you take in the panoramic views of Lewis Bay from the second-level deck of this Mid-Cape beauty, you’ll want to spend most of your vacation right there. Of course, that’s when you’re not on the beach, which is a one-minute walk from the house.
Location
Besides its proximity to the beach and water views, this property is minutes from several outstanding restaurants, including the acclaimed Tugboats, which overlooks the Hyannis marina. You can also catch the ferry to Nantucket and spend a day on that intriguing island. Be sure to visit the Whaling Museum.
Also, less than a five-minute drive from your door along Main Street/Route 28: Old King's Coffee and mini golf.
Outdoor Living Space
Besides the second-level deck with its elevated views of the bay, there’s also a small third-level deck with an even more elevated perspective. And there’s a first-level house-wide front porch with water views and plenty of comfortable seating. Around back, you’ll find an oversized stone patio, gas grill, dining table and chairs, additional patio seating, a gas fire pit, and an oversized, beautiful enclosed outdoor shower.
Indoor Living Space
Here is an open concept living space at its best. Most of the main level consists of the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. There is a striking blend of natural wood and white surfaces, creating an unexpectedly charming contrast.
The social kitchen is wonderfully appointed and includes a commercial-size side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, stainless steel gas range, large L-shaped island with a handy prep sink, in addition to the big primary farmer’s sink. At the island, there is a sturdy and comfortable high-boy counter seating for four. All counters are sparkling white granite.
The kitchen flows into the adjacent living room, which offers lounge seating for up to eight. Guests can relax and enjoy the large gas fireplace and the even larger TV mounted above it. The other side of the kitchen opens to the dining area, which includes a convenient wine fridge/beverage center. The washer and dryer are also on the main level.
Sleeping Accommodations
There are four bedrooms in the house, three on the second level and one on the third level. You’ll find the primary bedroom on the second level, with a king-size bed and a private deck. It also features a large, full private bath with an oversized, step-in glass shower. Another king suite is located on the third level, with an equally appealing private full bath. Another second-level bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fourth bedroom has a set of bunks. There is a TV in each bedroom.
There are four full baths in the house: one on each of the main and third levels, and two on the second level.
