Location
Great Island in West Yarmouth is an upscale gated community with three levels of security and unique access to your choice of three sandy, private beaches, each within three-five minutes walking distance. Great Island has a rich history, all very upscale. It was at one time, an exclusive golf and country club known as Aberdeen Hall, then later the Cape’s leading, some say only first-class hotel, destroyed by fire in 1924. Now it’s an enclave of multi-million-dollar private homes you will love strolling or biking among.

All that secluded splendor, yet you’re a mere two-minute drive from all the restaurants and retail options of Main Street/Route 28.

Outside Spaces
A big deck overlooks a big yard, ideal for whatever recreational activities your group cares to conjure up. There’s plenty of seating outside, including an umbrella shaded dining table and chairs. So, feel free to fire up the grill and serve your meals out here. You also have an enclosed outdoor shower, the time-honored Cape Cod ritual for rinsing off sand and salt from the beach. After dinner when the sun goes down, the stars come out and you’ll want to point out the most striking constellations to the group gathered around the gas powered firepit. 

Interior Spaces
Start with the chef’s kitchen, fully equipped with top line everything for your pleasure and convenience. Stainless steel appliances, including a big gas range. The large farmer’s sink makes meal prep and clean-up much more manageable, and there’s plenty of operating space on the beautiful granite counters. When you’re not dining outside, you’ll appreciate the large dining table and chairs just off the kitchen.   

This home is built for a larger group that likes to socialize, but also values separation and privacy. There’s a cozy living room with lounge seating and a gas fireplace. There’s also a separate lounge with a big wall mounted TV. Be sure to try the surprisingly comfortable hanging rope swing seat.

Sleeping Accommodations
The primary bedroom is located on the main level. It provides a comfy king-size bed, its own big TV and a luxurious full bathroom. On the second level, you’ll find another bedroom with a king size bed and TV, another with a queen and a twin, and still another with a queen plus a child’s crib. Finally, there’s a bedroom with a set of bunkbeds, full size on the bottom, twin on top. The home has three and a half baths in all.
