Welcome to Port View with glimpses of Nantucket Sound from this modern beach house in South Chatham. The exquisite kitchen and living area are the focal point of the house. With vaulted ceilings and all new furniture, the space exudes casual coastal flare. You can see the blue shimmer of Nantucket Sound from the living room and exterior patio. The dining area has seating for your group of up to 8. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen and one with two twins. There is a renovated bathroom on the main floor as well. Upstairs you have an additional bedroom with a queen bed plus a day bed with a trundle. There’s also a full bathroom upstairs with a vanity, toilet, and tub (no shower). There is the ever-popular outdoor shower for use as well.

The house is a 5–7-minute walk down a private path to an association beach just to the west of Cockle Cove. Spread out and enjoy a day in the sand and sun!  You also have access to Taylors Pond which is a saltwater inlet of Nantucket Sound. It’s an ideal spot to kayak or paddle board down a short river out to the Sound.

The house is fully air conditioned and is equipped with high-speed internet.  Your pet may join you with the owner’s approval as well!  You are a scant 5–10-minute ride from both downtown Harwich Port and Chatham for dining, shopping and browsing. 

Please enter in your travel dates for up-to-date pricing. This property has a seven-night minimum during the peak season. As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $195. In addition, there are state and local taxes applied to all reservations less than 31 days in length that total 14.45%.

This property offers a 3-night minimum stay during select weeks in May – June & September – November. Guests are charged a cleaning fee for all stays less than 7 nights. Stay 7-nights or more and the cleaning fee is waived.
