It’s a custom built home in the Ellis Landing Beach section of East Brewster with a three-minute walk to a private, neighborhood beach.
The house is a gem, maintained in tip-top shape by its meticulous owners, who usually supervise rental turnover days in person. Hardwood floors, central A.C., two flat screen HD TVs, gas fireplace, wireless Internet, a screened porch on the main level and a rooftop deck off the master bedroom on the second level. Private full bath in the master bedroom suite also includes a Jacuzzi. The master suite has an additional room adjoining the bedroom. It was designed as a sewing room so there is no door, just a framed doorway separating the two rooms.In addition to the master, there are 3 other bedrooms. One bedroom (with a Queen) is on the first floor with a full bath next to it. Both the bedroom and the bath have wider doors to accommodate wheelchair access. The other two bedrooms are on the upper level, one with a queen plus bunk beds with a pull-out trundle. The other upper level bedroom has twin beds, one with a trundle under to sleep a third person. There is a full bath between those two bedrooms.
And the kitchen is beautiful – large, bright and fully equipped with best of everything. Guests who enjoy cooking love it.
The Ellis Landing neighborhood and beach is very popular with many families. You do need to know that there is a 20-30’ wide band of stones most summers just below the high tide water line. Summer residents and vacationers clear paths through the stones so walking out to the vast sandy beach just beyond is no problem. It is functionally fine but probably not as pretty to look at. Also, when it’s extreme high tide, be aware that the water can come almost up to the stone revetment, leaving little or no beach for an hour or so, but not to worry the tide will recede in short order.
The location is extremely convenient. You can walk or bike up to Route 6A in short order and find a book store, liquor store, pizza, bakery, fish market, gluten free foods emporium and the popular Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters, as well as a Cumberland Farms convenience store. Major grocery shopping is about a 10-15 minute drive into either Orleans or E. Harwich.
