Here’s an ideal choice and terrific value for a young family eager to experience a Cape Cod vacation full of wonderful memories. It’s only a five-minute walk to the sandy, neighborhood beach, or a 12-minute walk to Skaket, the popular bayside Orleans public beach. At low tide here, you can walk for miles on the “flats,” discovering all sorts of interesting things in the tidal pools among the sand bars. Think of it as Mother Nature’s Water Park!
This house is built for the beach and provides beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels.
Plan to return to the beach for sunset. You’ll see some beauties over the bay. And don’t leave right after the sun goes down, because if the clouds are right, the afterglow can be absolutely stunning for 30 minutes or more.
Bring your bikes or rent some: you’re less than a half mile from the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path. It’s a short bike ride into Orleans Center for lunch and ice cream. You can also bike to nearby Nickerson State Park, which has its own network of bike paths and beautiful fresh water lakes with sandy beaches.
Enjoy outdoor summer living on the attractive screened porch, while the kids play safely outside in the private, level yard. When you come off the beach, rinse off the sand and salt in the enclosed outdoor shower. Then it’s time to fire up the gas grill!
Inside the house, you’ll love the bright, cheery feel created by an unusual “window wall” plus skylights. Enjoy operating in the recently updated kitchen. You’ll find all the important kitchen equipment here, including a dishwasher and ice maker in the fridge. The common space on the main level includes the dining area and living room/TV lounge with a flat screen HDTV with cable. This home is centrally air conditioned and provides high speed Wi-Fi.
The main level has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen size bed. There’s also a full bath on this level with a tub/shower combination.
Upstairs you’ll find two more bedrooms. One has twin beds, the other has a king providing flexibility for sleeping arrangements. The upper level full bath has a step-in shower with a bench and a handrail.

As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $ 195. In addition, there are state and local taxes applied to all reservations less than 31 days in length that total 14.45%.
This property offers a three-night minimum stay during select weeks in May–June and September–November. Guests are charged a cleaning fee for all stays less than seven nights. Stay seven nights or more and the cleaning fee is waived.
