Multiple Balconies, Multiple Views at our Rentals in Cape Cod, Massachusetts
It only makes sense that if you are going to construct a home with multiple stories, you will want a balcony on each level, offering views that extend further the higher you get. For the most part, our homes with balconies will only be two stories, providing an expansive deck on the main floor where guests will likely find barbecues and outdoor dining areas. You may also find a smaller balcony off the primary suite, offering a semi-private spot on which guests can enjoy their first cups of coffee in the mornings and their last glass of wine at night.
Some of our house rentals in Cape Cod, MA will offer three stories of beauty, comfort, and luxury, with the space that was once considered the attic converted into cozy rooms with quirky ceilings that may slope down low on the sides. The balconies off these spaces will be even smaller than that on the second floor and may give guests the feeling that seafaring captain’s wives used to have when they stepped out onto the widow’s walk to try and catch sight of their brave husband returning home.
The Beverages You Will Consume
Balconies are designed to be places of leisure, and although you may find yourself snacking as you sit out there, more often than not you will be sipping a variety of beverages. Our years of experience in the vacation rental business have taught us that the more beverage amenities we offer, the more delighted guests will be, and many of our house rentals in Cape Cod, MA with balconies may also offer wet bars, coffee bars, and a selection of other accessories to encourage hydration.
Cape Cod has two wineries, each offering sophisticated wines that will become your new obsession and wine refrigerators will allow you to purchase as many bottles as you want without encroaching on your food storage areas in the regular refrigerators. Blenders are popular as guests enjoy whipping up frosty margaritas to sip while watching the sun set from their lofty perches, and because caffeine is king, the kitchen of your choice may feature a coffee maker, a Keurig, and an electric tea kettle. Some may even go as far as to offer the whistling teapots of tradition, adding a retro charm to your beverage experiences.

The Views You Will Cherish
Our homes with balconies may be found all over Cape Cod, and not all will provide views of the sea, but that’s ok. It is almost impossible to have a bad view on our island home, and whatever you see from your lounger will become your newest obsession. Water views aren’t always of the sea, as Cape Cod is dotted with creeks, ponds, and cranberry bogs, all offering serenity. Maybe your space will be located down the road from the beach, and although your balcony may only provide slivers of watery views, the sun will still reflect off waves, and the moon will still cast its glow on sandy beaches and tranquil waters.
The ponds of Cape Cod offer their own magic, and even if your pond front retreat only offers a ground-floor deck, quite often the elevation of the home provides a balcony-like experience, especially in those perched on a hill with many steps leading down to the dock where you may have your rental boat tied. Rolling hills, quiet neighborhoods, and serene coves are some of the views you may experience while sitting, sipping, and savoring your balcony time.

FAQs about our Rentals in Cape Cod, Massachusetts with a Balcony
-
I’m traveling with kids, how safe are your balconies?
Our balconies don’t just meet safety standards and requirements, they quite often exceed them, and you can feel safe having your children with you while lounging on them. For younger children, we wouldn’t recommend leaving them outside on the balconies alone, of course, because supervision is always safer.
-
I’m getting spoiled from the views off my balcony, are there any rooftop bars on Cape Cod I could visit?
The Rooftop at Pellham House Resort, located at 14 Sea Street in Dennis Port, offers some of the best sea views on Cape Cod, and whether you are dining there or simply stopped in for a drink, you will never be disappointed.
-
Do you offer Cape Cod rentals with a rooftop deck?
Although not as common as our balconies or ground-floor decks, we do provide at least a few properties with rooftop decks, furnished so you can relax and enjoy the best views on Cape Cod.
-
Can we go inside any of the lighthouses on Cape Cod and climb to the top?
There are 14 lighthouses on Cape Cod, but only four of those offer tours that allow you to go inside and climb to the top, and those lighthouses are Nauset Light, Chatham Light, Highland Light, and Noboska Light.
-
I never want to go inside. Can I sleep on the lounge chair on my balcony?
You can sleep anywhere you want within the property boundaries, but there are mosquitoes and other pests at night, and when the sun sets, nights can get rather chilly. Our beds are so much more comfortable and screens on the windows will allow you to sleep with the windows open, enjoying a more comfortable experience!
