Bay Beach in Brewster

Families with inquisitive children may really appreciate the Brewster Tidal Flats (accessible from any of Brewster’s public beaches), where you can peek into life under the sea during low tide. This part of Cape Cod is known for its protected, calm water, making this a great place to kayak, paddleboard, and swim.
Rent a Bike from the Brewster Cycle Center
You can ride bikes all over Cape Cod, but since you are going to be here for at least a week, you will have plenty of time to explore the Cape Cod Rail Trail, running through six different Cape Cod towns (including Brewster). If you need to rent a bike, Brewster Cycle Center has bikes for riders of all ages and skill levels, plus tandem bikes, tag-a-longs, and trailers. You may be surprised at how little this adventure will cost, especially knowing that helmets, locks, and a map of the Cape Cod Trail are provided with the cost of the rental.
