The location of this 0.75 acre in-town estate is ideal. Walk less than a mile to popular Oyster Pond Beach. Or stroll eight minutes along Shore Road to the Chatham Fish Pier Market for today’s catch of the day. The venerable Chatham Bars Inn with a choice of gourmet dining venues is just over a half mile from the property – about a 10-minute walk. Famous Chatham Village and its shops, restaurants, galleries and other attractions is only a mile away. Hop on your bike and be there in five minutes!
The main house features a large, bright chef’s kitchen with an enormous center island and, among other appealing features, two refrigerators. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need.
There are a variety of places and spaces in the main house that invite gathering together, as well as affording privacy for smaller groups, couples or individuals. There is a main living room with new cozy couches as well as a smaller den. Both have new smart TV’s. The main level also provides several dining areas, such as a good-sized sunroom with tables that can be joined together to accommodate larger or smaller groupings. There is also a casual dining table in the kitchen. On this level you’ll also find a half bath and an oversized laundry room. The main house also provides two work stations, one in the main level bedroom suite and one off the kitchen, to accommodate today’s remote work style.
Each of the home’s beautifully appointed seven bedrooms has its own private full bath en suite. Four of the bedrooms are in the main house, three more in the carriage house, connected by an attractive and convenient covered walkway. The bedrooms are more like luxurious guest rooms at an upscale B&B – because that’s what they were! Each bedroom has its own smart connected TV and several offer additional amenities such as gas fireplaces, built in bedside chargers, mini-fridges and coffee makers. The seven beds are comprised of six kings and one queen.
The outdoor areas are well landscaped and provide several comfortable areas for gathering and play. The property has a large outdoor lawn perfect for playing the many outdoor games, with a raised gas fire pit and sitting area. There are four patio dining tables with umbrellas. So you can put the large gas grill to good use! There are lawn games, like corn hole and Bocce in the shed. Two of the guest rooms on the upper level of the main house walk out to a rooftop deck. Each of the three guest rooms in the carriage house walks out to a remarkably private outdoor sitting area, made possible by cleverly planned and carefully maintained landscaping. The property also has an enclosed outdoor shower.
The total square footage of the combined main house and carriage house is 4,122. There is air conditioning throughout, some provided by in-wall units, some by window units. Naturally, there is high speed WiFi and cable TV.

As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $ 225. In addition, there are state and local taxes applied to all reservations less than 31 days in length that total 14.45%.
This property offers a three-night minimum stay during select weeks in May – June and September – November. Guests are charged a cleaning fee for all stays less than seven nights. Stay seven nights or more and the cleaning fee is waived.
