Chatham’s Memorial Day Ceremony, Memorial Day, Chatham Community Center
The ceremonies start promptly at 10 AM, and if you love a parade, this is your chance to be in one! March behind the leaders, fife and drum players, through the town of Chatham, beginning at the Chatham Community Center and ending up at the Godfrey Windmill with a dedication of the American Revolutionary War Memorial. After the ceremony, take a few moments to explore the windmill built in 1797 which will be open to the public, and learn all about the way life used to run before electricity became a wonderful part of our world!
Dennis Memorial Day Parade, Center Street, May 29th at 8:30 AM
Everyone loves a parade and this local tradition promises to charm and delight! Starting at 8:30 AM the procession will head to the Village Green on Hall Street, where a remembrance program is scheduled to begin at 10 AM.
