What a great location! Dune Road is an unpaved quiet road that runs parallel to the beach. The house sits on a private treed lot with fantastic views of the water. There is a small private path from the back yard to the sandy association beach. The yard is very private. There are a lot of trees in the front where the children can play in the shade when they are not on the beach. Most rooms in the house have water views.
The living room is front to back with an adjoining kitchen. The door from the kitchen leads to a small patio area where the gas grill is located. Just around the corner, is another patio area with table and chairs. There are usually a couple of lounge chairs in the back yard area to relax and take advantage of the view.
It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor, one has a Queen. The other has 2 twins as well as a small sitting area. This is a great room for anyone who enjoys a little space and privacy or respite from the hustle and bustle. These two bedrooms share a full bath (shower).
The master bedroom is on the upper level (King) with a huge walk-in closet that even has a small window for natural light and ventilation. There is an oversized slider with a small deck off the master bedroom. What a view to wake up to each morning! The other bedroom has 2 twins and these two rooms share a full bath with a shower and separate large tub.
There is an attic fan on the upper level which helps naturally cool the house on hot muggy nights.
The location is extremely convenient. You can walk or bike up to Route 6A in short order and find a book store, liquor store, pizza, bakery, fish market and gourmet foods store, as well as a Cumberland Farms convenience store. Major grocery shopping is about a 10-15 minute drive into either Orleans or E. Harwich.
Another plus: On your bike, you are very close to the Cape bike trails.

We do love the "old Cape" feeling of this house and the fabulous location with magnificent views of sunrises and sunsets, as well as the easy access to water for walking and swimming. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
